Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about festival customs, foodways, objects, seasonal traditions and the ways people gather. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting an unsolicited full article.
A useful pitch
Tell us the central question, the specific detail or tradition you want to examine, and why it suits Golden Festival Review. Explain the angle in a few sentences and note what material or sources could support it. We favour a clear, bounded subject over a broad tour of festival culture.
What fits
Strong proposals offer context without flattening differences between communities. They might explain the role of a keepsake, compare ways of sharing food, or consider how a recurring ritual shapes a gathering. Avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy and pieces that depend on access or expertise you cannot substantiate.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option for a pitch. Include a working title, a short outline and any relevant background. Sending a proposal does not guarantee publication; we may ask for clarification before making a decision.
